The aim is to intensify the promotion of tourism, to strengthen the competitiveness of the Congolese destination and to reaffirm the strong will and momentum of decentralization in this sector.
As an innovation, this law incorporates international legal instruments ratified by the Democratic Republic of Congo. It establishes collaborative links in tourism between the central government and the provinces, in accordance with the Constitution of February 18, 2006, as amended to date, which institutes strong political and administrative decentralization of the country.
