Madagascar - The construction of the Mangoky bridge

Linking the Atsimo Andrefana and Menabe regions (Southwest), it is part of the Government's strategy to open up vast residential areas and will have major positive impacts on the development of agriculture, tourism, the economy in general, and more specifically on combating food insecurity in rural areas directly affected by this infrastructure. The main objectives of the project are:

– the promotion of trade between the Southwest and the rest of the country; ;

– the contribution to the economic and social development of the project area; ;

– improving the living conditions and reducing poverty among the populations in the project area; ;
